The Japanese writing system たてがき、よこがき

I want to tell you something about the Japanese language and what I can do with it here.On this blog post. For those who don't know the Japanese don't have one way of reading and writing. They have two. There's the traditional form called たてがきtategaki or the modern form called よこがきyokogaki. If you have a Japanese friend online they use the modern form. Which is written the same way as English. But the traditional written the same way as English. But the traditional writing is what we see in manga. This writing is written Top to bottom right to left. If you want to se an example of that I will show it right now:
That says Hi how are you do you understand Japanese? in traditional writing  It's not used on the internet but in real life with manga and other books. Here is the modern version of that:こんいちわおねがいします?にほんごわかりますか?
There you go there's your lesson on the Japanese writing system! Have fun writing it in both ways.

Japanese Word of The Day! Day 58!

While I was writing that Japanese manga script yesterday I wrote a word that would sound very cool for this day. This word has multiple translations I will give you one it is カタナkatana. That word means sword. Tomorrow I will give you another word that means sword. But for now I say goodbye until next time.

Hey Everybody

Greetings people I recently made some new manga scripts. Most likely I will put them up on the blog wen they are done. But I want to tell you something about them it's partially translated in Japanese. Everything will have English but some words will get a Japanese translation and I promise all titles and Names will be written in Japanese. But I don't want to show anything on this blog unless I get people's approval. I'm here to entertain you guys so I wanted to know if you would like me to do that. Let me know in the comments.

Japanese Word of The Day! Day ごじゅなな57!

Hey everybody how are you doing. If you look at the title I gave you the Japanese writing for the number 57. Remember in all languages as far as I know have the same exact numerical. They just say them differently. Why? Because it's a different language! Anyway so the word of the day is ごじゅ七gojunana. go means five ju means ten but when you put them together it means fifty and nana means seven. There you go I technically gave you four Japanese word of the days. :)

Japanese Word of The Day! Day 56!

Today's Japanese word of the day is なれうたうnareta this has two accent marks which are on the e and a. In the symbol or hiragana if you want to be specific as far as I know you indicate an accent mark with う. Anyway it means narrator. I learned this word when starting my first Japanese Manga script which I might put on this blog one day. Piece out!

It's time

What is it time for? To explain how to scare away the pirates. If you want a refresher pirates online are people who put illegal content online. They are huge problems in the manga and anime industry. In the last post I explained that this was a huge problem everywhere in the world. It's even starting to become a problem in it's homeland Japan! And if the homeland crumbles so will the rest of the world. Now here is the solution to a part of the manga/anime industry problem. We have to scare away the pirates and to do that we must stop using scanlation sites or fansubbing/dubbing sites. I can list a bunch of these. mangareader mangafox animefreak gogoanime etc. You get the point we have to stop using these. There are multiple alternatives to this that benefit the manga and anime industries greatly! We could go on amazon and buy everything manga and anime related for insanely low prices! Wait a couple business days it's all in our hands. You don't even have to do that there are apps and ereaders and a whole bunch of things the Japanese and American companies make that allow you to read manga. Just look up Shonen Jump alpha. It's a digital manga thing made by Viz Media so they have to benefit out of it somehow. And you even get the manga the same time the Japanese will isn't that amazing everyone! There are other alternatives to that. You can go to a local library and ask for the comic book section. If you are in a library and can't find the manga you want ask the librarians to get it this works in every country doesn't matter if it's the U.S, U.K , Australia or Japan! There's a good chance you'll find some manga especially if you are in Japan. They have Cafes for manga in that country! There are so many alternatives to the scanlation sites. And after you read a manga you can buy anime dvd's on amazon or in some store. These are very easy to find in Japan. In America not so much but not impossible. If you don't live in America or Japan chances are your situation is similar to America's. Right now the companies are working really hard to digitize manga and selling them online for you guys(Well only a few companies but it'll catch on and everyone will get into online manga!) It's going to take a whole lot of time before manga is digitized in the proper profiting way everywhere so what do we do stop reading and watching and wait? No! We should keep supporting the industry keep buying the comics, keep buying the dvd's no scanlations please! If we do all this the pirates will give up run away and the industry will grow forever! Are you with me everybody take a stand against scanlation and a stand for buying manga and anime through all the ways I've listed above. Who's with me?! P.S: Sorry this was really long I still have one more post about this to do?

The future of the manga/anime industry is...

Doomed! Or is it? Well I'm here to talk about that. I have done lots and lots and LOTS of research about this topic. I know I have addressed this in the past but still I have not made a difference. But I know more about this topic now and I will talk about every version of this problem whether it be Japan's problem or abroad (ex. U.S and U.K and a bunch more.) As we all know anime and manga are worldwide phenomenon's. So what could possibly be wrong with it? Have you ever heard of manga scanlation or anime fan subbing/dubbing. That's where most of the problem lies. Keyword most. Some parts of it have nothing to do with the fans but the publishers and producers themselves. So in this post I will tell you what you can do to help the manga industry and let's not forget the beloved anime industry to grow and prosper. I will also tell you the problems with the companies so you can learn how to help them. Let's start with the problem that deals with everyone. By everyone I mean the people of every country. I'm not saying everyone is doing this in fact there are like only a few people to blame for this who I don't know but we can stop them if we all work together. Remember when I mentioned scanlation and fan subbing/dubbing. That's the big problem. The sites that show you all of this are brought to you by pirates. By pirates I don't mean "Ar! Get your hands off me booty!" pirates I mean people who are being accused of piracy. That means they are showing things that are illegal and get away with it. This is a huge problem in any industry that involves entertainment but is the worst in manga and anime. So what are the companies doing about this? Sue sue and sue some more! By Sue I mean by legal stuff not the name. That would not make any sense. That means they are using their legal rights to stop these. They have done a good job at getting rid of very popular mangas from the scanlators but most of the titles are still there. We can't wait for the Japanese and American companies to finish what they started especially when the American industry is weakening greatly. We have to scare away the pirates. So how do we do this? Well this post is getting way too long so I'll tell you in my next post.
